Hire Works puts its faith in Ammann

North of Auckland based Hire Works has taken delivery of an Ammann AV12-2 1.5 tonne compaction roller. In doing so they have the distinction of becoming the first customer to acquire Ammann product since Youngman Richardson recently took over the nationwide distribution.

Although it is great product the decision to go with Ammann was largely based on an existing service based relationship we have with Youngman Richardson, says Hire Works owner John Kyle. The after sales support is second to none, they’re easy to deal with and they go that extra mile, says John. This is very important to us in the hire business where the reliability of our equipment is paramount.

The Ammann AV12-2 is the second tandem roller John has purchased. The first one was purchased over 5 years ago and is still going strong. The new machine has some unique features including offset drums and excellent compaction rates. Hire Works is situated in Snells Beach and from this location services the hire requirements of the greater Warkworth region.

The new 1.5 Ammann roller can be easily loaded on a trailer so is ideally suited to the types of construction undertaken in the area, where it is used primarily on driveways and for house bases on some of the bigger homes prior to construction.
