Green range of light towers expands
The VT-Hybrid Light Tower from Generac was the first hybrid or full-battery Light Tower to be made available by Youngman Richardson & Co Ltd and has proven to be a popular addition to many local Hire Company product ranges. Thanks to hybrid features and LED lamps, the VT-Hybrid can run more than 660 hours without refuelling.
YRCO has added the extremely compact and robust CUBE+ Hybrid to its stable of hybrid configured lighting solutions. The special dry batteries used are able to be recharged in less than 5 hours and can be charged from either external power or from the built-in backup generator. Thanks to the hybrid features and the LED lamps, this model can run more than 700 hours without refuelling. It’s ideal for the illumination of large events thanks to its small size, the limited fuel consumption and no carbon emissions.
Also, now available is the CUBE+ Next, offering up to 112 hours on a single charge. The digital timer and the darkness sensor are installed as standard, so that the CUBE+ Next can automatically start and stop. When the CUBE+ Next Light Tower is powered through the battery pack, it is completely silent and doesn’t emit carbon dioxide (CO2). An ideal solution for events and working areas with low noise or CO2 emission requirements.
