Frontier Hire commits to Genie
Noticing an opening in the access market Cole Glasgow, whose background is in civil construction and Dan Clark who is involved in commercial construction got together and recently launched Frontier Hire Limited. Used to operating with quality equipment Cole and Dan settled on Genie as his product of choice for the new company.
We wanted to start with new gear from the word go because we felt that having to maintain second hand equipment at this stage was not in our best interests, says Cole. This is one of the reasons behind choosing Genie. We also felt that operators all like using new machinery and Genie has a good reputation when it comes to supplying good quality access products.
Looking to the future Dan sees a lot more demand by contractors for access equipment and Frontier Hire Limited are already planning for expansion in their business with the help of Youngman Richardson & Co Ltd. This is reflected in the fact that since purchasing the products all Genie products have been actively employed on projects away from their yard located at Waitoki, north of Auckland.
Cole Glasgow is quick to acknowledge the support of Youngman Richardson & Co Ltd and was particularly impressed that the company invited him to attend a Genie course on maintenance as part of their commitment to providing the best possible after sales support.
