DM540i – Husqvarna’s new battery-powered Drill

With the launch of DM540i, Husqvarna can now offer customers a battery-powered drill motor that can provide the advantage of moving freely between work sites, building levels and drilling tasks without cords or the need to locate a power source.

Distributed in New Zealand by Youngman Richardson the DM540i is a powerful battery drill motor optimised for handheld drilling of diameters up to 75mm, or it can be used with the DS 150 drillstand for drilling diameters up to 100mm.

Power is supplied by BLi-series batteries and the machine is compatible with Husqvarna BLi200 or BLi300 batteries. With its low weight at 4.9 kg and well-balanced machine body, it is an excellent choice for drilling underneath sinks, in narrow corners or other tight spaces. It’s ideal for plumbing blocks, reinforced concrete, electrical sockets, cables, ventillation and airconditioning installations
